About this program

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences’ Robotics Engineering programme is a multidisciplinary Bachelor of Engineering. It covers automation, programming, artificial intelligence and mechanics. The programme also builds mathematical, scientific and linguistic skills, and includes project studies, languages and work placements.

The studies last for four years and are worth 240 ECTS credits. They are delivered as blended studies, with online learning and classroom teaching. Students attend a fixed number of classes on campus and complete the rest remotely or online. The first two years follow a shared curriculum. In the third and fourth years, students choose specialisation modules and complete work placements and a bachelor’s thesis.

Metropolia says the degree is designed to meet industry needs. Graduates can apply for master’s programmes in technology fields at higher education institutions.
