Industrial Engineering and Management, Master of Science (Technology)

The Industrial Engineering and Management programme studies how new technologies create opportunities for companies, how change can be implemented, and how employees can be led through change. Aalto University says the programme educates future leaders and changemakers for technology-based businesses.

The programme is organised by the School of Science and totals 120 ECTS credits over two years. The structure consists of a major, a minor, electives and a master’s thesis. The curriculum covers entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, organisation development and leadership. The minor is chosen from a technical field.

The programme offers five majors: Organization Development and Leadership, Operations Management, Product and Innovation Management, Strategy, and Technology Entrepreneurship. Aalto University says the degree provides eligibility for scientific postgraduate studies in Finland.
