About this program

Learning, Education and Technology is a two-year full-time international Master of Arts (Education) programme at the University of Oulu. It focuses on Educational Sciences, self-regulated and collaborative learning, digital technologies, and human-AI interaction in learning.

The programme combines lectures, group work, practical exercises, literature analysis, independent work and collaborative work. It includes project-based courses and an internship, and it is closely connected to research in the Learning and Educational Technology Research Lab and the Hybrid Intelligence research programme.

Students complete a compulsory minor subject, Digital Technologies in Teaching and Learning, and a master’s thesis worth 35 ECTS credits. The programme prepares students for work in education, industry and other professional contexts, and for doctoral studies.
